Center Based

A center setting often involves the care of larger groups of children in a commercial building. They are either owned and operated privately or associated with a larger corporation. They can be a part of a community center, religious organization, or non-profit.

QSSB enrolled the first participating early education programs in 2016. This is the first year that eligible programs in QSSB received a rating. Up until 2020, programs were re-rated every two years. Going forward, they will now be rated every 3 to 5 years depending on the needs of that program. Under a program’s name you will find every rating they have received to help show their progression to even greater levels of quality.

Due to Covid-19, no ratings will be given in 2021. In the meantime, participating programs will continue to engage in quality-building behaviors like attending training and professional development opportunities and working with QSSB staff.

We appreciate all the programs across San Bernardino County that have said Yes! to high quality care and education.
