Quality Start ratings are based on a variety of areas–ranging from group size to teacher qualifications–and, once available, will allow you to find the quality early learning program that fits the needs of you and your child.
Participation in Quality Start San Bernardino County is voluntary–all of the educators that participate are committed to providing a high quality early learning environment for the children in their care, and are taking the necessary steps to continuously improve the quality of their program beyond what’s required to be a licensed child care program. Quality Start is a quality rating and improvement system (QRIS). Learn more about what this means.
