At the moment our San Bernardino community, like all others, is experiencing unusual uncertainty, daily cancellations, upended routines, and more. As a community it is important that we check up on one another. QSSB wanted to do just that and hopefully provide a little reassurance that we are all in this together. Operational partner Child Care Resource Center has shared an ever-growing list of activities and free opportunities, like virtual museum tours and online story times.

One of our go-to sites, Red Tricycle, has compiled a list of 60+ free online educational resources for kids ages tiny to teen.

Sesame Street Communities offers worksheets, activities, and educational videos featuring everyone’s favorite puppets.

The Kaplan Early Learning Company offers an extensive list of free resources for crises management and ways to keep the children in your life learning thru play.

TRAININGS & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Quality Counts California, the statewide leader of San Bernardino and all county’s Quality Rating and Improvements Systems like QSSB, has released the first 2 out of 5 online interactive training experiences around family engagement. They are offered in English and Spanish.

California Early Childhood Online (CECO) from California Department of Education provides state-of-the-art information and best practices to grow your knowledge and create developmentally appropriate experiences the classroom.

Edweb is a free social network and learning community built around peer to peer learning and collaboration. Current course offerings include social-emotional learning, tech-balance, developmental screenings and much more!
